Will’s Mango Salsa

my sous chef 👨‍🍳 is in the house ✨WILL’S MANGO SALSA✨ let’s give him a warm welcome👏🏻👏🏻 Will actually used to work as a chef at his dad’s restaurant for a few years before becoming a full time mechanic👨‍🔧 he’s been in the restaurant industry since diapers basically, so it’s safe to say he knows his way around a kitchen. however, in our kitchen, he is strictly the sous chef. i wear the chef’s hat at our house hehe 🙃 he does give me some awesome ideas though and is my best taste tester 🥰 couldn’t do it without him!

his mango🥭salsa though is the best way to sweeten up your taco tuesday and is one of my favorite things he makes! it goes so well on top of any kind of taco, in a sandwich, over an egg scramble, or just with tortilla chips! he actually used to make this all the time for me when he worked at the restaurant. they had a pineapple🍍salsa that they served that i used to be obsessed with! pairs so well with almost everything! you could make this salsa with pineapple or mango, whichever one you are feeling! feeling crazy? make it with both!

WHAT YOU NEED:

+ 1 large ripe mango, cubed

+ 1/2 red onion, diced

+ 1 red bell pepper, chopped

+ 2 tsp garlic powder

+ 1 tsp paprika, salt, & pepper

+ 1/2 cup orange juice

+ 1/2 squeezed lime

+ cilantro (optional)

HOW TO: toss all above ingredients together and let chill for 1-2 hours before serving. store in an air tight container in the fridge for up to a week. enjoy!
